Just over a year ago, Lumar Química created Lumar Química México as part of its international expansion strategy, with the goal of strengthening its presence in one of Latin America’s most dynamic industrial markets and staying closer to its customers. One year later, this initiative has proven to be a key step in improving proximity, responsiveness and market understanding in the region.
A stronger presence in the market
The opening of our offices in Mexico City and the development of a local logistics structure have allowed us to operate with greater agility and a better understanding of customer needs. This proximity has been essential to building stronger relationships with manufacturers, formulators and industrial companies that require reliable chemical solutions for applications such as lubricants, antifreezes, corrosion inhibitors and industrial detergents.
Mexico continues to consolidate its position as one of the leading industrial hubs in Latin America, with strong activity in sectors such as automotive, manufacturing, mining and energy. This environment generates a constant demand for specialised raw materials and technical additives, where reliability and technical support are key factors in decision-making.
Results and regional development
The results achieved during this first year confirm the positive reception of Lumar Química México in the region. We have supplied 97 tonnes of products and developed relationships with 23 customers across Mexico and Latin America. Our activity has also expanded to countries such as Peru, Argentina and Uruguay, reinforcing our position in the regional market.
Looking ahead, we remain focused on strengthening our presence and building long-term relationships based on proximity and technical understanding. For commercial enquiries and technical support, customers can contact José Venegas, who leads our activity in Mexico and supports clients throughout Latin America.
